Fancy a walk in our beautiful countryside and work your whole body at the same time.  Then come along to one of the longer Nordic Walks:

Thursday walks £6, Saturday walks £8 incl pole hire.  Walk lengths are approximate.  Thursday walks are between 1 and 1 1/2 hours long.  Others as stated.

Due to Greystoke Forest being shut for 6 months we will now be meeting every Thursday - Penruddock Village Hall, 11am

19th May - Martindale Loop
23rd June - Whinlatter 10km
7th July - Dowthwaitehead Loop

No walks August or September.


Not sure what Nordic Walking is all about then book in to one of the beginners courses to get the most out of walking with poles.  Benefits of Nordic Walking include:

- Tones the upper and lower body at the same time.

- Uses 90% of the skeletal muscles.

- Burns up to 46% more calories than ordinary walking.

- It’s very sociable; participants can chat as they go!

Please enquire as will put together when enough demand.

£6 per hour incl. pole hire (1hr per week).

If you cannot make this date then you are welcome to a Nordic Walking session and we can run through the technique then.
