Recently I went mountain biking with my son. It was hard. I wasn't confident and my bike fitness was not there. But we had fun. I love being in the forest with the birds singing and also the buzz from pushing myself.
But maybe I should stop mountain biking. I'm too old?
NO!
I should do it more (haven't been on my bike for months); or keep jumping on and off my bike at the tricky bits (like I did today), or do the blue runs (today was red, a harder level).
But I'm not going to stop. Our fitness is related to what we do. And I want to keep biking for as long as I can.
Don't stop, adapt, change, repeat. You'll thank yourself that you do.
